Was having trouble deciding what to draw for this weeks topic until I pegged out my daughter's fairy doll to dry on the washing line.

Escape - Illustration Friday

Finally decided upon a simple inkwork of a mouse and its bolt hole for this weeks Escape theme. Dipping pen and brush inkwork.

Depth - Illustration Friday

Not the first idea that came to mind...but started doodling and this was the result (dont know why but lots of my work has eyes in it at the moment)
.....sketch started as a tornado and developed from there.
Initially worked in pencil -2b and 6b and scanned into PS to load up.

Illustration Friday -Roots

Not overly happy with this piece...it is done in mixed media then tweaked in PS - I didn't quite achieve the effects that I was after. Still ....keep trying eh?

Dreams

This is my first posting to Illustration Friday. 'Dreaming Dragon' - was taken from an A2 piece that I did a while ago which seemed to fit the bill. The work was created using Dipping Pen and Ink. I like to think the dragon is dreaming of free flight.
