England. I am accompanied on my journey through time & space by my special bloke, gorgeous girl, 3 daft cats, 5 fish & visiting, very shy, hedgehog.
Not overly happy with this piece...it is done in mixed media then tweaked in PS - I didn't quite achieve the effects that I was after. Still ....keep trying eh?

I enjoyed this piece very much because there used to be a mass of roots behind a house I used to live in. Spooky...it looks exactly this!
It looks great close-up! The good thing about PS is you can create new art from art :) It's always sad to see a tree uprooted like this.
this is a lovely piece. an illo doesnt have to be too perfect. and what you achieved in making this is indeed satisfying enough! nice art...

You can see right away that it is an uprooted tree which is a tangled web of roots. Very effective. I like it.
This is a really lively looking picture - there's something bristly spider/lobsterish about these roots!
